Mission of Hope Haiti

Mission of Hope Haiti’s vision states “As an organization following Jesus Christ, we exist to bring life transformation to every man, woman, and child in Haiti.” What an awesome challenge!

We began our partnership with MOH Haiti in 2011. We’ve sent several teams to Haiti and MOH Haiti’s VP has visited LifePoint Church a couple of times since then, too. In 2013, we joined two other churches in committing to ministry in a specific village in Haiti for the next 5 years. That village is called Minotrie. Please check out MOH Haiti’s website to learn more.

LifePoint concentrates its efforts in Ethiopia in a village called Korah, located near the city trash dump, where we serve orphans, single mothers, women living with HIV, and widows. We have partnered with various ministries in Ethiopia where we are building meaningful, lasting relationships.

Alpha and Omega (Ukraine)

A&O reaches out to students in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine.  Their goal is to reach the future leaders of Ukraine to teach them about love, hope, and forgiveness from God our Father.

LifePoint has sent teams to work with A&O since 2010. A&O has helped us connect with multiple orphanages in Dnepropetrovsk. They visit orphanages every month to share love and Jesus with the children. We want to help them continue this beautiful example of what James called “pure and faultless” religion (James 1:27).  Please visit their website to learn more.

Oscar and Anna Maria Campos (Guatemala)

LifePoint Church has been partnering with Oscar and Ana Maria Campos since 1996.  They have hosted at least nine teams from LifePoint and together we have ministered to orphans, families, churches, a rural Bible institute, an urban seminary, and the communities around them.  The Camposes have introduced numerous individuals in our church to cross-cultural ministry for the first time.

Oscar and Ana Maria have served together for over 25 years in evangelism, leadership training, and pastoral ministry in Nicaragaua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Spain, and the U.S.  They have been teaching and leading at the Central American Theological Seminary in Guatemala City for the past 16 years.  Ana Maria is the Department Head of Christian Education.  Through the seminary they influence over 1300 students from about 22 countries who become pastors, lay leaders, and missionaries throughout the world.  Over 2300 are now serving in 30 countries on all continents.

The Camposes live Guatemala but their hearts are in Dallas, Texas where their adult children, Becky (with husband Tim and granddaughter Audrina) and Sam and Sara live and work.

Jean Baptiste Mugarura (Rwanda)

Although he was born and raised in a Muslim family, Jean Baptiste is leading people all over Rwanda to Christ. Jean Baptiste (or JB as we like to call him) has visited LifePoint Church several times and is sure to be here again. You’ll love meeting him! A great leader with a gentle spirit. He and his family are serving in Rwanda through Youth For Christ International. Learn more about Jean Baptiste and his wife Marina here:

LifePoint Medical

LifePoint Church is blessed to have many medical professionals in our church family. A small team of them work with a partner to set up medical teams for medical professionals of our church. Actually, you don’t have to be a doctor or dentist to go on one of the trips. There are usually support roles where non-medical volunteers are needed! Our medical teams have sent LifePointers to multiple countries in the Middle East and Africa.  If you are interested in learning more about medical teams of LifePoint Church, email us:
